I am an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Illinois State University. I currently teach two courses in language and literacy development and literacy interventions & methods for preservice special education teachers and a course in assistive technology design, implementation, & evaluation for doctoral students. My research focuses on training and coaching teachers to use evidence-based practices in literacy to support students with high-incidence disabilities in general education classrooms.
